When little Violet (Don’t you just love her name?!) made her entrance a few days earlier than expected, the sex was totally a surprise. Mom and Dad had no idea what she was going to be. I had my suspicion she might be a girl though. The first time Violet’s grandmother and great grandmother found out was when they came to the recovery room. My favorite photos from the day are the looks on their faces as they found out Violet was a girl.
